Character Information:
Monkey D. Luffy, also known as Straw Hat Luffy, is the main protagonist of the One Piece franchise. He is now known as Joy Boy and Sun God Nika.
He is the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates that wants to find the One Piece treasure and become the King of the Pirates. He is also the son of Monkey D. Dragon, the grandson of Monkey D. Garp and the adoptive younger brother of Portgas D. Ace and Sabo.
Following Kaido and Big Mom’s respective defeat, Luffy was officially declared to be an Emperor of the Sea of the current generation, alongside with his rivals, Shanks, Blackbeard, and Buggy.
He is voiced by Urara Takano and Mayumi Tanaka in the Japanese version of the anime, and by Erica Schroeder, Chuck Powers and Colleen Clinkenbeard in the English version of the anime.
