Character Information:
Yhwach often referred to simply as “Your Majesty” by his underlings, is the overall main antagonist of Bleach. He is also the monarch of the Wandenreich, the Father of the Quincy, and the son of the Soul King, with the designation A: The Almighty.
1000 years ago ago, Yhwach came to view the status quo under the Shinigami as a deception and sought to destroy it by killing the Soul King, which would merge the three worlds into one and create a world without death. Although he was defeated and sealed away by Yamamoto during his first attempt to invade the Royal Realm, he would return in the present day and proceeded to lead the Wandenreich into battle against the Gotei 13 in his second attempt to carry out his longtime goal of melding the three worlds into one under his rule. As the ancient Quincy King, Yhwach is also responsible for various events that have occurred throughout the series, most notably the death of Ichigo’s mother and the genocide that the Shinigami carried out against the Quincies centuries ago.
