Character Information:
Isaac is a playable newcomer in Super Smash Bros. Switch. He used to be an Assist Trophy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, however, due to his popularity and importance during the Game Boy Advance’s lifespan, he was included in the game. He is voiced by Darcy Maguire-Wheelahan in all versions. Isaac, design-wise, is based on his appearance as of Super Smash Bros. Brawl. He also takes design cues from his son, Matthew.
Isaac is a unqiue character compared to the rest of the cast. He’s a somewhat tall heavy-weight character with decent speed, and great traction. This allows Isaac to be able to move around with ease. This is great for his overall punish game. Most of Isaac’s toolkit requires Isaac to attack in ways that will bait and punish his opponent into his attacks, often finishing up with powerful KO moves. Isaac also has a good neutral, with many attacks being great for spacing.
