Before he turned against Azmuth, Albedo was an eccentric Galvan genius who was very respectful of Azmuth and concerned for the safety of others. At the same time, he still showed an arrogant sense of superiority toward others, mostly in terms of intelligence.

In the present day, Albedo is portrayed as a rude, vengeful and ambitious individual exhibiting sociopathic tendencies. He is unaccepting of Ben being Azmuth’s choice to wear the Omnitrix, thinking that Ben is unworthy. He bears animosity towards Azmuth, even so much as claiming the credit for the creation of the Omnitrix for himself.
