Neferpitou is one of the secondary antagonists of the Chimera Ant arc in the anime and manga series Hunter x Hunter. The character’s gender is ambiguous, and as such, “they” is the pronoun that will be used in this article. They are a Chimera Ant and one of King Meruem’s three Royal Guards, alongside Shaiapouf and Menthuthuyoupi.
Neferpitou was voiced by Ayumi Fujimura (who also voiced Rei Hōōmaru in Kill la Kill and Konoe A. Mercury in BlazBlue) in the Japanese version, and by Sarah Anne Williams (who also voiced Nonon Jakuzure in Kill la Kill) in the English version.
Neferpitou was born to the Queen of the chimera ants. They were the first royal guard to be born. Unlike the other ants at the time, Neferpitou was born already possessing Nen. They managed to detect that Pokkle, who had been previously captured, was still alive, and used their medical Nen to probe Pokkle’s brain for more information on Nen. They later came upon Gon, Killua, and Kite. Neferpitou immediately tore Kite’s arm off and then killed him soon after. Neferpitou used their puppeteering En abilities in order to control Kite to turn him into a training dummy for the other ants to practice on.
