Makoto Shishio (AC) JUS

Makoto Shishio is a major antagonist of Rurouni Kenshin. He is the main antagonist of the Kyoto arc who attempts to destroy the Meji government after they attempted to assassinate him as he knew too many of their secrets. Shishio survived and spent the next decade forming an army known as the Juppongatana. He was voiced by Masanori Ikeda in Japanese and Steve Blum in the English Dub. In the live action films he was portrayed by Tatsuya Fujiwara, who also played Light Yagami in the Death Note film series.

Shishio had black hair in a high ponytail and fair complexion of his skin along with red eyes. After being burned, Shishio’s skin turned brown from the flames, so he now wears bandages all over to hide his deformed skin and to ease the pain. Parts of his remained hair stick out of his head bandages and wears a half purple robe with his right side exposed.
