Katsuki Bakugo, also known by his hero name, Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight and his nickname, Kacchan, is the deuteragonist of the My Hero Academia franchise. He is a student in Class 1-A of U.A. High School’s Hero Department. He is an incredibly arrogant, stubborn, and short-tempered hero-in-training, who sees everyone that he considers weak as “extras”, due to possessing a powerful Quirk. Despite these flaws, Bakugo is determined to become a hero to surpass his idol, All Might and his rival, Izuku Midoriya.
He is voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto (who also voiced Ghiaccio in Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind, Accelerator in A Certain Magical Index and Gladion in Pokémon the Series) in the Japanese version of the anime and by Clifford Chapin in the English version of the anime.
