Toph Beifong is a character from Avatar: The Last Airbender. She fought Gaara in an episode of Death Battle and later on, fought Terra in the Season 6 premiere of One Minute Melee.
Toph Beifong was born blind to the wealthy Beifong Family. Her parents were very overprotective of her and even hid her existence from the outside world. At the age of 6, fed up with this solitude, Toph ran away from home. She came across a cage filled with badgermoles, the inventors of Earthbending. Toph became fond of these creatures. Since the badgermoles were also blind, they not only taught Toph how to Earthbend, but also how to use seismic sense. This technique allows Toph to essentially see with her feet…
