One Piece 1049 : Spoilers, Raw Scans, Release Date

We are going to see Kaidou’s backstory in One Piece 1049. It will show how Kaido’s own country tried to sell him and how he got recruited into the Rocks crew. Read till the end for all the spoilers and other information.

   In the previous chapter, we saw that Momonosuke was still pushing the Onigashima island. Kaidou used a technique called ‘Kaen Daiko’ (A great flaming fire dragon) and transformed into a fire dragon. Onigashima’s horn melted like butter when Kaidou touched it.

Luffy used Gomu Gomu no Bajarang Gun (Monkey God Gun) and Kaidou counted with a new attack called ‘Shoryu: Kaen Hakke’. Inside the castle, Samurai were rooting for Kaido’s defeat. Kawamatsu had a flashback from the time of Oden’s execution. Kaidou got to know that Oden is survived by a son.

   Kaidou then attacked Momonosuke and the townspeople. The Wanokuni Daimyo took command and went to fight Kaidou and Orochi but got defeated and the country falls apart. Denjiro arrived and took down Orochi by cutting his head off.       The chapter ended with a clash between Luffy and Kaidou. There were two clashes between them and it looks like the fight will be getting more intense from here and will reach its conclusion soon.

• Chapter Title – ‘The world we should aspire to’
• On the cover page, someone burned Niji and Yonjj’s books.
• We see Kaidou’s flashback from his childhood (8 years old) in the Kingdom of vodka and a few years later he meets Whitebeard who told him that Rocks wanted to meet him.
• In Kaidou’s childhood, his country tried to sell him to the marines.
• Kaidou escapes and causes a rampage in Hachinosu (Probably Blackbeard’s island), then Rocks invited him to his crew.

• In the present time, some water that Raizou released comes out of the castle and the “clouds of flames” disappear.
• Momonosuke manages to create a new cloud of flames.
• Denjiro hugs Hiyori.
• Luffy says that he will create a new world in which none of hís friends go hungry, then knocks Kaidou to the ground of the Flower Capital.
• ln another flashback, Kaidou tells King that he knows who Joy Boy is and he will be the man to defeat him.
• Onigashima falls near the flower capital.
