My Happy Marriage is based on the KADOKAWA-published books written by Akumi Agitogi and illustrated by Tsukiho Tsukioka. The series began in January 2019 and has six volumes as of July 2022.

The My Happy Marriage books are published under Kadokawa’s Fujimi L Bunko label. The story was originally a Shousetsuka ni Narou web novel, which inspired a Square Enix-published manga adaptation by Rito Kohsaka that began in December 2018.
