Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch: Aqua

Hanamori first serialized the manga in Nakayoshi magazine on August 3, 2021. Two tankoubon volumes have been released as of September 2022. It is a follow-up to the original Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch that was written by screenwriter Michiko Yokote and illustrated by Hanamori. It ran in Nakayoshi from August 2002 to March 2005 and released a total of seven tankoubon volumes.
The manga also inspired a television anime adaptation that ran for a total of 91 episodes from 2003 to 2004.
Synopsis:
Lukia Nanami is turning seventeen. Her family has just moved to a town by the sea, and on her first walk down to the beach, she saves a handsome surfer from drowning. The next day, she’s shocked to discover he’s not only a classmate at her new school, but has no idea who she is, and insists he was saved by a mermaid! The manga first debuted in pixiv’s Palcy manga app in December 2017. Three tankoubon volumes have been released in Japan as of May 2019.
