The upcoming i☆Ris the Movie – Full Energy!! –, an anime movie inspired by the voice-actor/idol group i☆Ris, has received an illustration previewing the animated versions of the i☆Ris members.
i☆Ris the Movie – Full Energy!! – was announced last November and is set for a 2024 release.
Co-managed by Avex Group and 81 Produce, i☆Ris was formed in 2012 with six people, with its members being decided via the Anisong Vocal Audition. The group currently consists of Saki Yamakita, Yuu Serizawa, Himika Akaneya, Yuuki Wakai, and Miyu Kubota. Azuki Shibuya graduated in January 2021.
i☆Ris released its debut single “Color”, the ending song for Battle Spirits Sword Eyes, in November 2012 and released its first original album We are i☆Ris!!! in April 2015. A 10th anniversary album was released on November 7, 2022.
Some of the group’s other anime songs include the Wise Man’s Grandchild opening “Ultimate☆MAGIC,” the Magical Sempai opening “FANTASTIC ILLUSION,” and the Kakugurui Twin ending “Queens Bluff.”
The group members also notably voiced main characters in 2014’s PriPara and, taking into account the second and third seasons, performed eight opening songs for the show.
