Yoshitsugu Matsuoka is voicing the titular Pig protagonist while Tomori Kusunoki is voicing the main heroine Jess.

The announcement of an anime adaptation was first confirmed at the Dengeki Bunko Winter Festival livestream in December 2021. Details on the anime’s production staff and animation studio have not yet been released.
The series is based on the light novels written by Takuma Sakai and illustrated by Asagi Tousaka. Sakai launched the series after winning the gold prize in the 26th Dengeki Novel Prize in 2019. It was published by ASCII Media Works under its Dengeki Bunko imprint and has released seven volumes as of December 2022.
A manga adaptation with art by Minami was launched in ASCII Media Works’ seinen manga magazine Dengeki Maoh since August 27, 2020. Four tankoubon volumes have been released as of February 2023.

The isekai fantasy story follows an otaku who lost consciousness after eating raw pig liver. Soon after, he finds himself in another world and meets a kind girl named Jess, who can read people’s thoughts. With no inherited special abilities or talents, the reborn pig takes on exciting adventures with his new friend.
