Shouta Aoi is voicing protagonist Allen.

The DekiSoko fantasy books are written by Shin Kouzuki and illustrated by Chocoan. Five volumes were published between 2018 to 2020 under the TO Books Ranobe label. The plot sees Allen, the son of a noble family, being banished due to his failure in obtaining the “gift” of the gods. Allen, who is actually a reincarnation of a former hero who wishes to live a peaceful life, takes the opportunity to embark on a journey. However, his attempt is upended by a series of events like the failed assassination of his former fiance and getting involved in a dragon extermination alongside a female hero.

DekiSoko was originally a web novel that began serialization on Shousetsuka ni Narou in January 2018. The light novels have inspired a manga adaptation by Karasumaru.
