Kessoku Band is stepping onto a real-world stage this August with a stage play adaptation of Bocchi the Rock!.
Live Stage Bocchi the Rock! will run at THEATER MILANO-Za from August 11 to 20. The play will feature live music performances by the cast members.
The Bocchi the Rock! anime series premiered last October and ended with 12 episodes. A compilation movie was announced in May of this year. It is an adaptation of the Houbunsha-published 4-koma manga by Aki Hamaji. The story follows the lonely Hitori Gotoh, who becomes a skilled guitar player but remains awkward and introverted. Her life starts to change when she is invited to join a band led by the cheerful drummer Nijika Ijichi.
